John Philpin, CEO
John Philpin has responsibility for Lyris’ global leadership, business execution, and driving the company’s growth.. Philpin was most recently senior vice president of Engineering at Lyris, leading the design and development of The Lyris’ digital marketing platform to deliver value and meet the highest performance standards for customers worldwide. A British national and U.S. resident, he brings a wealth of experience in business transformation, software, and technology to Lyris, spanning large enterprises including Citibank, General Electric, and Oracle, as well as early-stage technology companies, small businesses, consulting organizations, and governments. Philpin’s ultimate passion is the customer and considers this focus to be core to success. He holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of East Anglia, UK.
Deborah Eudaley, COO and CFO
Deborah Eudaley is responsible for leading the financial success of Lyris and has oversight for all company operations not related to direct sales or engineering. Eudaley brings more than 25 years of experience in finance and general management to the company. She previously served as Chief Financial Officer for a number of technology companies, including Cloudmark, a private messaging security software company; GoldenGate Software (acquired by Oracle in 2009), where she also served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations; as well as Indivos (acquired by Solidus Networks), Alibris, and Placeware (now Microsoft). She also held a variety of senior financial management positions at Silicon Graphics (SGI), Oracle, and TRW. Eudaley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley and an M.B.A. from California State University, East Bay.
Alex Lustberg, CMO
Alex Lustberg has responsibility for all marketing activities at Lyris. In his prior role as VP of Marketing at Lyris, Lustberg led the company's re-branding and re-positioning as a leader in digital marketing, and orchestrated the successful market launch of the company's innovative Lyris digital marketing platform. He has more than 15 years of strategic marketing experience with a specific focus on digital media and cloud business applications. Prior to Lyris, Lustberg served as Senior Vice President of Product Marketing and Strategy at Overtone, a leading provider of customer listening and social media analytics solutions. Lustberg holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Organizational Studies from Stanford University.
Brennan Carlson, Senior Vice President of Product and Strategy
Brennan Carlson (@brennancarlson) has responsibility for product planning, management, and strategy at Lyris. He provides cross-functional leadership for the delivery of the company's product vision, with a focus on roadmap planning, requirements definition, user experience and user/acceptance testing, and other strategic product initiatives. Carlson also provides expertise in working with prospects and customers, and serves as digital marketing thought leader for Lyris. Before coming to Lyris, Carlson held enterprise marketing, product management, and business development positions at several computer software and Internet technology companies, including Yahoo!, Akamai Technologies, and Trilogy Software. Carlson holds a Bachelor's degree from Stanford University.
Bernard Fraenkel, Vice President of Engineering
Bernard Fraenkel is responsible for providing vision, strategy, and leadership for the global Engineering, Product Management, Quality Assurance, and Operations organizations at Lyris. He has over 15 years of experience leading engineering teams that deliver mission-critical software applications for the enterprise and consumers, at companies including LesConcierges (CRM), Teachscape (education), Clairmail (mobile banking), Sendmail (messaging and security), Persist Technologies (large scale searchable document archive), Bigstep (ecommerce), Scientific Learning (neuroscience), and One Touch System (distance learning). Fraenkel holds two patents, is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique in France, and has a Master’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
Bill Rudiak, Vice President of Global Professional Services
Bill Rudiak is responsible for leading the services organization in delivering strategy, deliverability, implementation, and product integration solutions to Lyris’ worldwide customer base. He has over 15 years of experience leading consulting teams in software product and pure-play services companies, including IBM Global Services, Liberate Technologies, Xpedior, VMware, Autodesk, and nCircle (now part of Tripwire), covering a wide range of technologies including security and compliance, digital video, e-commerce, and geospatial; and has sold and delivered large services engagements for a wide range of clients spanning the energy/utilities, financial services, government, and healthcare industries. Rudiak holds a Bachelor of Music degree and area of concentration in Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario in his native Canada.
Jeff Rosen, Vice President of Sales - North America
Jeff Rosen is responsible for driving revenue for the Lyris solutions portfolio in the North American region and works closely with the rest of the senior management team to develop business strategies, grow sales, and serve our customers. Jeff brings 15 years of direct field sales and management expertise to Lyris, having worked with Fortune 1000 organizations on customer experience, voice of the customer, analytics, business intelligence, and data warehousing programs. Prior to joining Lyris, Jeff opened, built, and ran Clarabridge's West Coast office, with responsibility for expanding the company's presence in the region. Prior to that, he held positions at Oracle and Microstrategy, where he worked closely with clients across every major industry. Jeff has Bachelor of Science degrees in both Engineering and Writing and Humanistic Studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Jon Maddison, Managing Director, EMEA
Jon Maddison has responsibility for marketing and marketing technology services provided to Lyris EMEA customers and delivered through the company's account management, strategic consulting, full service, and technical consulting teams. Maddison has more than 10 years of experience in senior digital and loyalty marketing roles, most recently leading a digital offers business for Barclaycard, EMEA's largest payments business. Previous to that, he spent four years as vice president and general manager of Epsilon's Northern European region, overseeing the digital and CRM programs of some of EMEA's largest retailers. Maddison holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Surrey and an M.B.A. with distinction from the University of Bath, U.K.
Ramak Capodicasa, General Manager, APAC
Ramak Capodicasa has responsibility for nurturing and growing Lyris’ business in Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia Pacific region, working with leading retailers and businesses with a traditional marketing focus and helping them transition and develop strategies to ultimately increase engagement and online conversions from digital marketing initiatives. Capodicasa has over 16 years of experience in sales and marketing, having worked for leading global IT software and hardware vendors for direct business-to-business, business-to-consumer, and channel organizations. She also has extensive channel alliance experience across APAC and continuously looks for opportunities to add value for new partners throughout the region.
Pablo Gersberg, General Manager, LATAM (Brazil)
Pablo Gersberg co-leads the Lyris Latin America (LATAM) office, with responsibility for all sales operations and revenue activities in Brazil. With his colleague Fernando Skrobacki, he was founder of an Argentina-based digital agency, which evolved into the Lyris LATAM office. He has over 10 years of experience successfully doing business in Latin America. Gersberg holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Buenos Aires.
Fernando Skrobacki, General Manager, LATAM (ROLA)
Fernando Skrobacki co-leads the Lyris Latin America (LATAM) office. His responsibilities include all sales operations and revenue activities for Central and South America. With his colleague Pablo Gersberg, he was founder of an Argentina-based digital agency, which evolved into the Lyris LATAM office. He has over 10 years of experience successfully doing business in Latin America. Skrobacki earned a degree in Advertising from the University of Enterprise and Social Sciences in Buenos Aires.
Dennis Barfield, Controller
Dennis Barfield oversees the team responsible for global accounting operations, corporate accounting and reporting, and financial information systems. He brings more than 25 years of finance and accounting experience to Lyris, having served in senior positions for a number of Bay Area companies, most recently as chief financial officer/controller at Exigen Insurance Solutions, a software and SaaS company providing solutions to the insurance industry. Barfield started his career in public accounting in the Boston office of Ernst & Young. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Walter A. Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
